During music lessons, pupils at Clarborough Primary School have the opportunity to enjoy a wide range of musical experiences through listening, singing, movement and dance.  Pupils develop skills in controlling sounds through singing and playing tuned and un-tuned instruments and we encourage each individual to perform to the highest levels through providing a variety of performance opportunities.

To enrich our music curriculum, we also employ specialist music teachers to teach music and singing, and also provide specialist music tuition to those pupils who want it, to give pupils the best opportunity to develop their knowledge and skills in this area of the curriculum.  All pupils in KS2 (year 3 to 6), have weekly music sessions with a Peripatetic Music Teacher using voice and brass or woodwind instruments.
